Melbourne, Day 6 & 7. (27 Feb 2012 - 9 March 2012)

Hello.

I'm gonna blog Day 6 and Day 7 together because they are relatively short days.
Also, I can't really remember all the details. :/

Lesson to be learnt, I must blog right after I come back from a trip!
Or at least noting everything down in a Moleskine. :)

Here are all the previous posts, Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4 and Day 5.

So let's get on with the post. :)

On Day 6 we stayed at home to chat, pack some things and then went for dinner.
Dinner was a really famous restaurant at Melbourne Crowne, it's a hotel and casino.

It was about 5pm and all the shops are already closed!

Southbanks, Yarra River.

Reminds me of Raffles Place and Clarke Quay. :)

Gorgeous sunset! See the distinct colour change in the sky!

Here we are!

Rockpool Bar and Grill!
Awesome steaks! I really recommend this if you are willing to splurge a little.

Sour dough bread and butter for starters

Our side dishes, sautéed mushrooms and potato with rosemary and olive oil.

Honey's Cape grim Rib-Eye steak.

My Rangers Rib-Eye steak.
It's OH-SO-GOOD!
I can still remember the taste and I looking at the photos I really want to have it now!

Aunty's seafood stew. :)

What's a meal if you don't end it with dessert? ;)

Donuts with Berry Marmalade, Lemon curd and vanilla ice-cream.

Profiteroles.

Our bill for the night.

The weather was really really really cold and windy!
Very strong wind!
I hid inside a pillar thingy while Honey took lots of photos!

I ran out to take a few shots and ran back to hiding!
Check out the wind in my hair!

Melbourne Aquarium.

Brrrrrrrr!

Day 7

Woke up and made a little snack for breakkie.

We pass by these buildings everyday to get to town. :)

Pretty. ^^

That's my favourite flower shop across the street.

We were waiting for tram and trying to find directions to St. Kilda beach.

Not my most flattering shots but check out the streets!

We were so hungry so Aunty went to Pie Face opposite the tram stop and got us pies!

Juicy Chicken Mushroom pies!

Very delicious!
Honey still craves for it all the time. Hehe.

We couldn't find the way to the beach so we decided to go next day after we did all the research.
And it was rather late already.
So dinner it is!

Taiwan food!
I love Lu Rou Fan!
Can anyone recommend me some nice Taiwanese restaurant in Singapore, please?
I miss these too much!

Yum!

This is mine. ^^
I couldn't finish all so I dabao and had it for supper. Hehe.

Surprisingly, this is what I missed the most from Singapore!
For the next few days I keep going back to takeaway a cup. ;)

Then we went shopping yet again. Hehe.

That's the end of day 6 and 7. :)

With Love,
Angela Giselle
